We work on all types of images and documents (although we never alter your originals). This includes Daguerreotypes, Ambrotypes, Tin Types, Albumen prints and Glass Plate photos, as well as faded, cracked, torn, smoke damaged, and mold or water damaged photos. We can also add or remove people, pets, backgrounds or objects, and add color to black and white or sepia toned images. (Most projects take less than an hour. Estimates cheerfully provided free of charge.)

ARCHIVAL PRINTS

We custom print each image by hand (no automated machines here), and we use only acid-free, museum quality paper with pure, archival, fade and waterproof pigments (not inks), both rated to last over a century. That’s why our printing fees exceed the norm. We understand that some of you may be unable to afford our fees. In such cases, we will be happy to help you find a printing company that will fit within your budget, and place your image(s) on a CD so you can bring it to the new provider at your convenience, or perhaps even print it yourself!

We offer the following print sizes in satin, glossy and matte finishes. (We also offer the two largest print sizes (16” x 20” and 17” x 22”) in a canvas finish, if requested at least two weeks in advance.)
